As part of OSH Month, declared in connection with World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA) organized a field visit to the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery on April 30. The visit was attended by AISA members and HSE specialists from several companies, including Azergold, Azerfloat, Socar STP LLC, IODICO, Proess LLC, and Araz Supermarket LLC.

The visit began with a safety briefing provided by employees of Socar Downstream Management (SDM) LLC regarding safety measures implemented in the production area. Afterwards, Ibrahim Server Sevil, Director of HSE and Process Safety at SDM, provided participants with an overview of the visit program and recent changes and improvements in the HSE field.

During the field tour, participants were guided by Mustafa Sharifov, Process Safety Engineer at SDM, and received detailed information about the production processes, equipment, safety procedures, and ongoing modernization projects at the refinery. Questions from participants were answered throughout the visit.
