A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed under the organization of the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA) between the Azerbaijani elevator manufacturer Vertus Engineering Co and the Belarusian elevator manufacturer Mogilevliftmash JSC.
The significant event was attended by Aleksandr Ogorodnikov, First Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, and Ismayil Nasirov, Deputy Head of the State Agency for Industrial Safety and Mining Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan. The memorandum was signed to promote experience sharing, the implementation of technological innovations, and joint project execution between the two companies. This cooperation will enable both parties to offer higher-quality and more reliable products to customers in both domestic and international markets.
The signed memorandum is expected to strengthen economic ties between Azerbaijan and Belarus and contribute to the adoption of innovations in the elevator industry. During the signing ceremony, the parties emphasized that this agreement will play an important role in enhancing industrial safety and economic development in both countries.
Notably, Mogilevliftmash JSC specializes in the design and production of passenger and freight elevators, operating for 50 years with an annual production capacity of 13,000 units, making it a leading player in the market. This cooperation is considered a strategic step for Azerbaijan toward manufacturing and exporting elevators that meet international industrial safety standards.
