Hazardous Industrial Facilities – Technical Diagnostics and Safety Services

Technical diagnostics and safety services for hazardous industrial facilities are essential to ensure continuous and reliable operations. AISA provides diagnostics, certification, and expert examination services in accordance with international standards.

Inspection and Certification of Lifting Equipment

As part of technical diagnostics for hazardous facilities, AISA inspects and certifies lifting equipment in compliance with LEEA EN BS 7121 international standards.

Services include:

Accessories: Wire ropes, fiber slings, shackles, turnbuckles, plate clamps.

Portable equipment: Chain and lever hoists, tirfors, beam clamps.

Fixed installations: Metal structures, winches, overhead cranes.

Mobile equipment: Mobile and crawler cranes, aerial work platforms, telescopic handlers, excavators.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety harnesses, lanyards, carabiners, ropes.

Metal storage systems: Inspection of cages and racking structures.

Preparation of Technical Safety Declarations

According to Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Technical Safety”, a Technical Safety Declaration must be prepared for every hazardous facility.

This document is required in the following cases:

New construction and expansion projects

Reconstruction and modernization

Conservation and decommissioning

AISA experts provide technical support in drafting these declarations and assist during the approval process.

Restoration of Passports and Operating Manuals

The availability of passports and operating documentation for hazardous equipment is crucial for control and safety assurance. AISA specialists restore lost or damaged documents and ensure that records of repair works are properly maintained.

Technical Safety Expertise

In line with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, technical safety expertise applies to:

Design documentation of hazardous facilities (construction, expansion, reconstruction, etc.)

Equipment and technical installations used at these facilities

Technical safety declarations and operating documentation

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Diagnostics

Non-destructive testing is carried out in accordance with international standards to ensure the safe operation of equipment used at hazardous facilities.

Methods applied:

Visual Testing (VT): Visual inspection of welds and surfaces.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI): Detection of defects in ferromagnetic materials.

Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT): Identification of surface cracks and flaws.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Detection of internal defects and measurement of material quality.

Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Testing: Enhanced inspection under UV light.

Destructive Testing

To ensure the safe operation of equipment and installations at hazardous facilities, destructive testing methods are also applied in compliance with international standards. These tests help identify defects at an early stage and verify material strength.

Methods applied:

Visual Testing (VT): Visual inspection of welds and surfaces.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI): Detection of surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials.

Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT): Detection of cracks and surface discontinuities.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Identification of internal flaws and evaluation of material integrity.

Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Testing: High-sensitivity inspection under UV light.

All testing is carried out by internationally certified specialists using modern equipment.
