On 14 January 2026, a business meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association, Orkhan Khalilzade, along with representatives of the Association, and the diplomatic delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Kyrgyz side was represented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan, Maksat Mamitkanov, Adviser to the Ambassador Asylbek Isayev, and Consul Maksat Madalbekov.

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on existing challenges in the field of industrial safety, the digitalization of management systems, the improvement of supervision and monitoring mechanisms, proactive risk management, and the expansion of institutional cooperation. The role of modern technological approaches in strengthening safety culture, as well as opportunities for sustainable regional partnerships, were also discussed.

The meeting was of significant importance in terms of advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and exploring new opportunities for future joint initiatives.
