Co-organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Azerigas" Production Union, and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA), an event titled "Energy Security Meeting: Technical Reliability in Gas Supply," dedicated to the issues of safety and technical reliability in gas supply systems, was held.

The main objective of the meeting was to systematically strengthen safety approaches in the energy sector, enhance technical reliability in the gas supply infrastructure, comprehensively manage potential risks, and foster a professional dialogue environment within the field.

The event also served as a crucial platform for the comprehensive discussion of safety issues arising within the framework of restoration, reconstruction, industrial, and infrastructure projects implemented in the Karabakh economic region.

Thus, the large-scale construction works carried out in the liberated territories and the creation of new industrial zones and energy infrastructure necessitate the implementation of a safety culture from an early stage.

During the meeting, relevant topics such as safety risks in gas networks, technical operation and preventive maintenance measures, the integration of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) principles into industrial activities, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between government agencies and the industrial sector, were evaluated by experts based on practical experiences and real-life examples.

The event was attended by approximately 50 participants, including representatives of government agencies, heads of industrial enterprises, and field specialists.

The participants emphasized that the implementation of a safety culture from an early stage in the new industrial environment emerging in the region is of strategic importance.
